about

This record has been completely full of mixed emotions for me. I'd first intended to be writing/riffing on something completely different. But that was right before the whole COVID hit everything. Particularly hard in the US, as most of you know. Sadly, it should've been a much different outcome.

I particularly focused on the bass/drums of this record, after laying down the guitar in such an improvised fashion. I should further note that this entire record was improvised sans the first riff that you hear on guitar at the beginning of each track. Without sounding too pretentious, etc. - I've developed a fairly good understanding of my own music and can jam as a full-band as a recording.

And if it sounds raw, good. Because it is. Also - it's not my preference to be a one-man band, but it's sort of just worked out that way. It's difficult to get three or more people on the same page creatively speaking. I've certainly tried over the years, but I've found it just works best as a solo project of mine.

Besides, the last audition I had for 2nd guitar the band wanted me in, but the guitarist wanted me out because his girlfriend wanted to sleep with me. I should've pulled a Dave Mustaine, but I digress...
